Model A & B: 7 x 50 gram Lee Target or Lister Special Quality for Aran Knitting Designs
Model A: Pair UK No 3 (6 ½ mm) needles
Model B: Pair UK No 1 (7 ½ mm) needles
Model C: 11 50 gram Lee Target or Lister Special Quality for Aran Knitting Designs
Model C: Pail UK No 2 (7 mm) needles and 1 cable needle
Cap:
2 x 50 gram Lee Target or Lister Special Quality for Aran Knitting Designs
Pair No 6 (5mm) needles
Tension:
Model A: 1 complete pattern (18 sts) equals 4 ½ ins (12 cm)
Model B: 7 sts and 14 rows equals 2 ins (5 cm)
Model C: 7 sts and 10 rows equals 2 ins (5 cm)
Measured over stocking stitch
Cap: 9 sts and 11 rows equals 2 ins (5 cm)

K knit; p purl; sts stitches; ins inches; cm centimetres; tog together; wb wool back; sl.p slip one st purlwise; C2BK slip next st onto cable needle and leave at back of work, slip next st purlwise then knit st from cable needle; C2BP slip next st onto cable needle and leave at back of work, slip next st purlwise then purl st from cable needle; C2FP slip next st onto cable needle and leave at front of work, p1, wb then slip st from cable needle back onto right hand needle purlwise; C2Fk slip next st onto cable needle and leave at front of work, k1, then slip st from cable needle back onto right hand needle purlwise; K1b insert point of right hand needle into row immediately below next st on left hand needle and knit this loop then slip this and corresponding st off the needle together.
Sadly the Lister mills have not survived the test of time and in 1992 they were closed. In 2004 the Lister mills were converted into apartments.
