Boy Doll’s Outfit
- One ounce of 2 ply Fingering in white for the blouse, vest, socks and pants
- Half an ounce of 3 ply Fingering in blue or colour preferred for the knickers and shoes
- A short length of pale blue 2 ply wool for the smocking and the yoke of the blouse
- A pair of No 13 knitting needles
- A set of 4 double-pointed No 14 knitting needles
- 2 tiny buttons for the vest
- 4 tiny and 4 larger buttons for the blouse
- shirring elastic for the waist of the pants
- a fine crochet hook
TENSION:
Worked at a tension of 9½ stitches to the inch in width over the stocking stitch with 2 ply wool and 9 stitches to one inch using 3 ply wool, both worked with No 13 needles.
The outfit, after light pressing, will fit a doll measuring 12 inches from top of head to sole of feet and 8 inches round the widest part of the body.
