I have finally finished this Patons 1652 V neck cardigan for my grand daughter who is the model in the photo. It looks a bit short but I think it is only because she is wearing very long T shirts underneath. I couldn’t get it off her to remove the T shirts for the photo. With a little summer dress I think it will be fine. I used bella baby “baby wonder” 4 ply wool instead of the Patons Fairytale and although the tension was correct I wasn’t quite happy with the finish.
I recently received the following email from Kay:
Hi,
I am looking for a pattern of a babies sleeping bag that I knitted many years ago for a friend. About 40 odd years ago. I think it was in one of the magazines, it was in a rib pattern with I think either 8 or 12 ply wool. Regards.

The book was given to me by my mum to add to the website. She pointed out to me at the time that Roger Moore is her favourite actor. Sadly he passed away on 23 May 2017 but he will always be remembered for his good looks and suave sophistication.
