Patterned V & Round Neck Cardigans
Pair each Nos 2 ¾ mm (UK 12) and 3 ¼ mm (UK 10) Beehive or Milward needles.
5-7 buttons
Tension:
Cast on 14 sts on No 3 ¼ mm needles. Work 18 rows in stocking stitch. Cast off. The square should measure 2 in each way
This pattern was given to me by a friend who knitted it for her daughter in the late 1970s. I recently knitted the V neck for my grand daughter who is the model in the photos. It looks a bit short but I think it is only because she is wearing very long T shirts underneath. With a little summer dress I think it will be fine.
